lt seems Twisted have a stock of new TDCi Defenders that they've decided to sell.
Prices "start at £162,000 and rise to £221,000 depending on version" and l wonder who will actually buy these
vehicles.
It would be foolhardy to pay that price and put one into daily use, as you would wipe over £100,000 off the value in the first 12 months.
As for stuffing one in an "investment barn" l would be surprised if future values will anything like that high. That's E Type and Ferrari 458 money.
You can buy a pristine late low mileage Defender TDCi for around £40,000
l hope for the sake of the people who sink £160-220,000 into one of these vehicles that l am wrong.
lf l won the lottery, would l buy one? No.
What do others think. Would you pay £200,000 for a NOS Defender TDCi if you had the money?
