New MOT rules in January 2012 – much more than I thought.

    An interesting link. But.......... out of date.

    The AA says that the page was updated in March 2012 so it does not make mention of the 'changes to the changes'

    As well as making the Tester's Manuals available to the public on their page here: MOT testing manuals and guides

    they also make available all the update info that goes to testers here: MOT testing manuals and guides

    Apparently the 'bedding in' period when failing the new testable items will not result in a 'rejection' but an 'advisory only', has been extended from the earlier date of April to some as yet unspecified date in the future.

    We just need to keep checking the link to the 'Special Notices' pages of the VOSA website. It really is a case of 'Watch this space'.
