Hi new member looking for sound tips and advice. Just taken the head off my 300 tdi discovery to find the head gasket blown and cracks in exhaust port. Is this common and is there a cause that can be fixed so it wont happen again as a new head is now required. Some one told me it may be an egr fault causing overheating inside the head? Any advice welcome thanks. Martin.
