I'd better show some courtesy and introduce myself.
been after a defender 90 for a number of years, took one for drive a few years ago and just got my own TD5 a week or so ago from a genuine enthusiast in Bedford.
from a citroen DS3 (which has since been donated to my younger sister) to a TD5 is some change! still getting used to maneuvering it through the streets of West london and have been caught out twice to date with the landys blind spots.
love it though and all the blokes at work want to talk about it. even thought i'd get a telling off from the old man for buying... but the 1st thing he said was "i've always wanted a defender - pass me the keys"
looking forward to many happy years tinkering and looking after this new member of my family. this site is a wealth of knowledge and i'm sure i've already been sifting through the threads for relevent info i'm after.
