Hi all
I am a new member to Landry zone although have been a regular reader of the threads.
I have a 2004 L322 and it has had its fair share of faults
I have had the transfer box refurbished by a company called LRO 4x4 really good service
All the usual, drop links suspension arms, ball joints.
I have an active suspension fault which I found through examination was a cracked height sensor giving corrupt data, parts coming tomorrow.
But the biggest change I made was to fit a TDI running box, fantastic 1/2 to fit over 220 bhp and 32 mpg.

Welcome:)

What is this Tom foolery TDI box you speak of then? And Why?

J
Been on my car for four years now, and also fitted one to my works Ford Range it ironed out all the flat spots
My done fitted one to his disco 3 and had I dyno tested 248 Bhp
Exceptional product

Hi
The TDI box comes complete with a wiring harness.
the box is programmed to your engine By the company.
It’s so easy to fit
Lift you bonnet and at the back of the engine you will see the air box, there is on bolt either side I think it’s a 10mm.
Remove the bolts and slide out air box.
If you look at the back of the engine you will see the injector plug.
Remove this plug
Now plug in the new harness, then plug the original plug into the harness as well.
Mount the TDI box safely inside the engine bay.

Run your car for 20 miles for the diagnostics to familiarise itself
Then that’s it all done
Settings on the box are from 1 to 7 and factory default is no 4
My car now does 32 mpg
Pulling my caravan I get 25 mpg

Just go to google type in TDI running the site is there with all the information

This explains the confusion, on this site when I see"tdi" I assume someone is talking about either a 200 or a 300 TDI !!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t sell them
As I said check out TDI tuning
On the site you can type in you registration and you will get the information you need regarding extra BHP, fuel savings
And if you sell your car you just take it of, send it back to TDI and for a small charge will reach program to your new vehicle.
I’m not a mechanic by the way, I am an engineer with the love of RR
I’m not sure if anybody can help with this fault, I have a constant battery drain, I can’t find it the AA could not find it.
I have replaced the fan relay and I was told that the clock sometimes cause this fault tried that but still the drain of the battery
Is this a common fault

Usual way to check it is to fit an ammeter between one of the poles of the batt and its connector, take a reading then start removing fuses, you may be lucky and find it that way.
Wifey's kit car runs it batt down for a pastime when the clock is connected! Her Pluriel does this too, a bit, could possibly be her DAB radio, anyway here is a link for you, as you'll see it is a common trait!

They not cheap just over £300 but I do around 4000 miles a year between Scotland and Wales so it has well paid for itself over the last couple of years.
My mate is a farmer he has actually fitted one to his tractor the results are amazing.

Thank you
