I bought a Discovery 2 TD5 to get us and a horsebox full of motorbikes to Spain to our new home.
I was planning on selling it and getting a local vehicle but it is perfect for here as we live on an unmade 4km track. Apparently I can get it re-registered here but need to get some LHD headlight units which are proving difficult to track down and very expensive new. Looking forward to using the forum for advise as not very mechanical!

A couple of suggestions.

Get yourself a download of the Rave workshop manual, if you do a search over the last month ( top RH corner) there are lots of links.
Make sure you know your EKA code. PLus make sure you know how to sue it and have a working spare fob.
Find / make a friend who has diagnostics that works on the D2 TD5.

Ok thanks. I only have one fob, the other is in bits so I will try and fix it. What's an EKA code??

EKA code, Emergency Key Access code, for when the fob stops working.
