Hi Andy,

Welcome to the Loonyzone.

As a fellow D2 owner, just a couple of pointers so that you can hopefully trouble free motoring, After all if you have it you will not need it.

1) Make sure you know your EKA code and how to use it.
2) Get yourself a working second fob.
3) Find a local friend who for cake will allow you to use their diagnostics system, Nanocom / Hawkeye / Lynx.

Eka code ? Where do I find it and what is it for.

Hi Andy,

Emergency Key Access. Look in the alarm and locks section of your owners manual.

It should be on a card with your paperwork, if you have it, It is a 4 number code.
If you do not have it then get it from your local LR dealer FOC, if you provide proof of ownership.
Or you can get it online for £20.
** the above two points are OK as long as a previous owner has not changed it.
Or, someone with diagnostics should be able to retrieve if for you from the car.

No, you need access to lots of Cake........( the currency of standing on LZ ) ... then you will find diagnostic owners will appear as if from nowhere......
