First of all congratulations on a great website.
I am just about to start my Mid Life Crisis. So what should I do get a Porsche or Ferrari ? NO, I have always wanted an RR so a P38 4.6 '99 Autobiography, dark blue with cream leather is the initial leap into RR ownership, just the ticket to quash the "why am I here?" and is this all there is to life?" thoughts.
Not necessarily a chick magnet, more one for the bank manager and more importantly, her in doors to start to wonder where all the cash is going. I can at least have a clear..ish conscience and know its not going on women, drugs and booze (may be cheaper from what I have read). And of course the "Mine is Soooo much bigger than yours mentality whilst driving, ahhh perfect
The Forums have been relevant, amusing and full of information which is proving extremely useful in knowing what to expect and what key points to look for. The past couple of weeks I have been trawling through as much as I can often coming away thinking this is going to be a nightmare and expensive am I really ready? Do I get a 4.0 or a 4.6, high mileage or low decisions decisions....
I am coming out an hairdressers MR2 which to be honest has been an amazing car, those Japanese certainly know how to build a bullet proof car that I can still work on. But you know, what the hell its an RR it has that X factor, it has class, its luxurious, its...its....its going to be a money pit :doh: , lol.
Anyway, hope I dont need to pose too many questions and maybe help contribute once I get my hands dirty, very dirty.
