I'm new here and this is my first post - so be kind!
I have a couple of 110s that I use for my job and hobby as a falconer. I go into some pretty extreme places and push the Landies very hard.
Anyway, after many years of trying I'm settled on Goodrich Mud Terrains which do really well. My second choice is Yokohama Geolanders which do almost as well, and give amazing life.
To the point, all five BFG MT's got stabbed with a Stanley knife . Three of the five were brand new (including the spare hanging on the back door) and the other two were about 1/4 worn.
Nobody will repair them, but with my background in haulage, I have all I need to repair them myself, but when done I want to fit tubes. Anybody tell me what size the tube will be labelled for size and where I might go to get them? I'm on alloys with tyre size 265/75/16.
I also found this site from a google search that took me to a thread about tubes (from 2005) that mentioned a product that someone had seen tested that makes any puncture instantly vulcanise and repair. In case of another tyre attack, that's something I'm very interested in!
Thanks in advance guys.
Barry
