Hi all, Im looking for any advice on a few probs with my Defender 110 Tdi 1990 which I picked up at the weekend, my poor wife and I drove all the way from Dunmow in Essex to Calais and then down to Cherbourg (France). Mad I know but seemed a bargain and the sellers a mate of sorts !!! 
Anyway on the way back we naturally hit a few hills and every time the landrover hit the hill it just really struggled up them, to the point of dropping to 35-40mph ?? Felt like a bit of a flat spot in acceleration aswell, thing is Ive had a 110 Tdi before and never had this ? mileage shows 91000, got many M.O.T.s with it and sum history, it had sat for 6months before I collected it, made the 400 mile journey back ok though it was a slog up the hills, also really struggles to start in morning, turns over but just wont fire up today at all ??
