New member needing advice

Hi everyone, can anyone help me with security, i know a lot of defenders are stolen and im trying to stop this happening to me. Is there anyway of doing this, money is no object. Ive seen the peddle locks and steering locks but there still been stolen. Is there any devices out there that do work and can stop the thefts of these awesome landys ?.

The more security the better. Look at steering locks, pedal locks, tracking devices and even wheel clamps. And be vigilant. Even down to where you park it at home and work.

Move to a low-crime high-landy part of the country

Put loads of stink bombs every angle for a would be thief tackle. Highly contagious monkeys in the back should sort men's from the boys
Better still gay bike rider leather clad magazines strewned about.

You are very lucky.

I guess in this instance, move to a low crime area. Make sure you have a long gated driveway and a locked secure garage/barn. CCTV and guard dogs might be worth it and maybe even a 24/7 security guard to watch it and follow you when you go out and park it up.

So basically if they want it they will take it, its a bit **** when u can’t keep the things safe u work hard for. But what about Trackers arnt they supposed to find you Landy if its stolen or don’t they work ??

People will take anything if they want it badly enough. If you want to keep it more than they want to nick it, you've got to make it hard.. how easy that is can depend on the age of the vehicle and how much of an inconvenience your prepared for yourself

Thanks everyone for your help. I have a discovery 1999 v8 too and i park it everywhere, I don’t even lock the doors most of the time and its never been bothered, but my defender’s like its got a big sign on it, “steal me, steal me”
