Hello all.
I’m an English ex-serviceman living a simple life in the French Pyrénées. Recently picked up a 2003 Freelander 1.8 SE in reasonable condition from a ‘chasseur’ who used it infrequently but kept a good record of servicing/replaced parts etc. It seems to be running ok at the moment (I can hear laughter already).
I looked at this site recently and found solutions to two minor issues, a rear window malfunction and a rear passenger door child lock issue, for which I am most grateful so I decided I’d register. Although I live in a small community there are a couple of other Landrover loons nearby, one of whom is an experienced mechanic. I look forward to learning from others in this online community and sharing any of my own experiences if I think appropriate...

Bienvenu à l'asile!!
Depending on where you are in the Pyrénées, when we manage to get over to our place in the Tarn we may be as close to you as 2 hours. We are about 45 mins from Carcassonne.
So, nice to see yet another Francophile keeping the LR flag flying!!
