Evening Chaps,

I'm Jon, I came across this forum whilst hunting for info about my Freelander. I Brought her in June with 76k on the clock, a slow water leak at first which was from the inlet manifold gasket, also a oil leak from the cam seals (belt end) so replaced gasket seals, water pump and cam belt and all was good until about 80k when she started loosing water again, which i found hiding in cylinder one, so I put a brand new head on along with the PRT Thermostat conversion (Genuine Grey stat) all is good now, and after a few cleans with the jet wash the engine bay is spotless :). A complete set of tyres sorted what felt like a slightly tight VCU and now i'm on to getting her how I'd like.

I've fitted a couple of LED light bars which make one hell of a difference at night :) and think they look quite at home.

I had the rear windows done in limo black last week which was good, I've tried doing them myself in the past but decided this time to have it done prefessionally and it was worth it.

I'd like to put a snorkel on her, I really like the look of the M-Sport style ones but have been struggling tracking one down. I spotted one on a caged FL near Minehead a few weeks back and think they look quite striking. I know the FL don't like deep water but i'd like one more for aesthetics, and piece of mind if i did go slightly too deep ;-)

Jon
