I’ve recently had the gater changed I think that’s what it’s called. Seems to be worse after they did this. Cheers in advance

It was when wheel rocked vertically wasnt it....I think that points to upper or lower ball joints or wheel bearing..? Could do with jacking that wheel up and having a good look and feel round while someone rocks it for you. Spin the wheel as well, if the bearing is fooked you should hear it.

If the garage play particularly hardball, I'd cut your losses and get it to a good independent unless you tackle it yourself ;)

I’m seeing them tomorrow I’ll see what they say or at the very least they can diagnose it lol then I can research and see if it’s doable. Or I can get me new mate to give me a hand :D

Axle seal looks pretty straightforward, your play/knock is probably unrelated and a bit more involved depending what it is
True he said he did upper ball joint so possible lower or barging they seem straight forward just got to remember how to put it bk together lol

Out of curiosity it would have failed the mot with that knock and it only just passed few weeks back cuz that’s the only thing it failed on was gater
