New landy owner!

Hi all just a quick hello to say I am now a proud owner of a 1969 series IIA.
It's need a bit of love an car but don't they all. Does anyone have any tips on this model? There are a few leaks and the brakes are soft but it is a landy after all I surpose. She needs the hindge pannels on the bulk head welding, I have the repair plates is this a hard job?
