aup every one, long time lurker over here.

so quick landrover history, had a few discos and will be buying my 4th in a few weeks hopefully.

i will be slowly moding it to help improve performance while towing and the occasional greenlane, there will be the odd improvement in the looks department. dont know what else to say so im gunna leave it there

for insurance reasons it will be a 1994/5 disco 300tdi.

get this, my insurance is £500 for a 1995 and older but its £1500 for a 1996..... how does that work? they are the same car lol

background... im 27 with 3yrs driving, no noclaims.

Well now, given my opinion of insurance companies, very little surprises me anymore in that regard......

I presume you have shopped around, but a search on here might give you some numbers to call.... one of the forum sponsors is a broker, and might be worth contacting...
