Ciao, got my 1st LR last year. It's a 1996 Discovery, 2.5Tdi 3dr.

Question: what is the difference between the 200 & 300 designation?

Great truck. When I was in Cleveland this winter, I picked up a K&N offroad air-filter which I have put in. Although it does not seem to have made any major difference. I seem to need to direct more air towards it, under the bonnet.

And I am looking into changing the computer system to improve the mileage and torque, etc.

your Disco is a 300TDi and it doesn't have a "computer" that can be tweaked for more power etc.
you can tweak the pump, fit a bigger intercooler and tweak the turbo a bit though.

oh yea.
don't call it a "truck", unless you're a merkin.
