new essex geezer

hi all

ive been lurking in the background for a while now so thought it about time i said alrite mates.

Im looking around for a disco td5 es and i have loads of questions.
ive never had any sort of 4x4 before and i aint got a scooby doo what to look out for.
Your knowledge and tips will be greatly recieved.

Hi Mark and Welcome. I have a 2003 TD5 ES auto and I love it. I've had it since 2004and wouldn't part with it! In my opinion you won't go wrong if you do get a TD5 ES. A wonderful motor!

Hi m8 , I've had my 51plate td5 es for 10years and still love it . The only big thing to look out for is a rusty rear cassis . All other bits are easy to fix . Just make shaw that all electrics work . Check for any water leaks inside as sunroofs and windscreens can fail . Also if 7seater check seats fold down and up as they can stick (no big prob but if they do good way to get a few more £ off) would also check for oil in the red ecu plug buy the battery . Another easy fix but if left can case running problems .
