New Discovery Driver - Chesterfield

Hi Guys,
New to Landrover ownership although I am not new to Landrovers as such

I am the proud (although currently dismayed) owner of a 1999 Discovery TD5 in a tastefull off-gold colour.
Recent purchase as I intend to restart my Farriery career out of the back and wanted something unstopable for the time being. It will see limited use for the first few months however.

Top of my list of things to do are to resolve the odd non starting issues (see my recent posts) replace all the vital fluids, blank the EGR (although this may have been done already) and get a new wheel cover with my details on it.

I am based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and if you see me knocking about please introduce yourself. I'm happy to lend a hand if anyone ever needs it but I am not the best mechanic and tend to have to rely on friends for complicated jobs. I wave at pretty much every Land Rover owner so if some idiot in a gold Disco is waving at you it will be me.

Thanks. Sadly I had some issues and had to drop out of the farriery game for what I heopd be a couple of months. 3 years down the line and I am fed up of the world of IT support. I set myself a plan and this is the first stage. Sadly working in IT is not as highly paid as people think so I am struggling to find my feet and with up coming weddings and having recently bought my house I am taking it slow.
