New Defender - a waiting game

Placed an order back in March for delivery in July. Got pushed back to August. And today the dealer rang to say it has been pushed back to December...and they need to take away the towbar option otherwise it would be delayed into 2022. But that they will fit it after delivery. Mine is only base spec to replace my D4, which I sold back in February.

I asked about the V8 just out of interest... apparently impossible to get hold of one for this year.

After seeing the types of people that are buying them (daft young lassies that you'd usually see cutting about in range rovers) I think I'll steer clear. I did like them initially but not now and I'd rather hold out for a Grenadier

Yes, I was going to wait for a Grenadier also... but not keen on their interior and goodness knows when they will be available... I doubt Slovakia will be a market near the top of their list of priorities. So realistically I wouldn't get one earlier than 2 years from now.

You could order an IBEX, but demand has gone up and waiting time is 18 months.
