Everything to do with the car is ****e,

Every screw, nut and or bolt have either sheared or have the strength of cheese, running out of welding consumables getting things free...

At least I have a shiny thing to go on my engine

I've always used an impact driver for the latch bolts when adjusting the tailgate closing.
You are making the same mistake as so many others, WD40 was never formulated either as a releasing agent (penetrating oil) or a lubricant - it's a water dispersant hence the WD.
Try Duck Oil & give it time to penetrate.

Or Plusgas. I like Plusgas!

I'll take some pictures of it tomorrow of its current state, looking sorry for its self, plus i've got all the belts off (power steering pumps a right arse to get loose)

Todays work done, all belts changed and tensioned correctly, white work shirt ruined lol

Need to tidy the engine bay up, HT leads are getting in the way,

Tomorrow, coolant hoses !

As you can see,

She now lives and all my hard work has paid off,

Video picks up a whine that I have yet to trace, seems to be either water or oil pump

Dash is back together after some scum tried to rob her early in January, trying to find how i took her apart took a bit of head scratching,

Rear passenger window frame replaced after i found hope and dreams were hold it together, however i cant seem to line it up to the body, doesnt leak (yet)

Only my transfer box to go before I can drive the thing home (yay)
