hi guys n gals here's me
Truck driver /HGV mechanic
32 years in the trade
28 years qualified
Owned 4 SIII's 1 of which was an FFR EX MOD owned in 1988 and 2 of which I've still got
and 2 SII's
A good lady 2jack Russell's and some spanners
Yet to be convinced about Defenders. Driven loads of them quite good for towing but engine seems harsh and they rot away too quick, but they are still nicer looking than all the far eastern offerings and at least the low box is manual not like all the modern stuff with electric shifter motors and bla that gives up after 3 years

It is true I likes tratters but couldn't live with one. Tratter engines rattle like a tin of marbles and that's just on tick over. The condensation ont roof will run down yer back like a cold shower. Yer need to open a window to poke yer arm out as there int enough room. They're eaten alive by rust worm and one of the most easily nicked vehicles. Never before has a vehicle been so good, yer have to make so many modification to it to make it bearable. Have yer thought about buying a Freelander?

how on earth does one put up a new post. As a mechanic i'm often fixing stuff and I'd like to post some solutions
If yer go to the main forum section list over ere:

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/

and pick the most suitable location (freelander stuff int freelander section fer eggsample)
select a section by clicking on it - freelander in this eggsample:

https://www.landyzone.co.uk/forum/land-rover-freelander.9/

this take yer to a list of freds on freelanders
near the top right are the words POST NEW THREAD
click on that and a new page will appear. That is yer new thread (or fred).
Start typing

if yer put it in the wrong section the mods can move it for yer
