Hi everyone, I bought my present truck 8 years ago, it's a Series 2a 88" Safari.
I was until about 18 months ago using it as my daily driver. Then due to a short in the wiring loom took out my rear lights, I decided to take it off the road and restore it.
To date, I have the vehicle sitting on a new galvanised Richards chassis. The tub has a new floor sitting on new galvanised bearers. Bulkhead has been welded with new foot wells. Engine and box are back in with complete new clutch.
I have fitted new brake lines, but in places they are too long and need to be shortened, so I'm waiting for a kit for that.
Currently I'm getting the complete new wiring loom installed. I have the engine compartment one fitted loosely, and the front loom too. I have also laid out the rear loom to see where it all connects.
I have a question or two regarding the front loom. On that note, I will need to ask for some answers from the electrical buffs on here if I may ? It has me a little confused at present !
I will be back on tomorrow possibly to ask for help.
