As some of you may have read I had a bit of a problem with air in the fuel pipe before the fip, my alternator slowly packed in and drained the battery.

After fitting the new alternator and recharging the battery there is no air in the pipe and it seems to be running fine so my question is that because my alternator was not charging the battery and therfore the battery was giving out less than 12v is it possible that the in tank pump was not up to the challenge and also when ignition was turned off draining fuel back to the tank?

Its just puzzling me at the moment as I was thinking the in tank pump was knackered now it seems ok or is it just a case of intermittent problems?:confused:
