Hi all - thought this may be of use to some.
Had my original unit ( Magnet Marelli 100 amp ) repaired Feb 2012 for £50 from a local repair shop. Failed early last week so took it off and went back to see him but he had shut up shop - cloud with a silver lining !!
Went on to Ebay and found this

Ebay ID is techniclutch ( based in Blackpool ) - no I am not connected with them in any way !!

Anyway ordered it , arrived two days later, fitted it and works fine. £80
My previous repaired unit delivered 13.2 volts to the battery inspite of me cleaning up the various cables connections. Now I am getting 14.25 volts at the battery ( it is 14.65 at the alternator )
Delivered with a VAT Invoice so actually cost me £67.00
The unit even had the multi groove pulley fitted.
