New air springs

Just to say, have just changed rear air springs on my p38, not a big job a all, first time i have attempted this, also, rebuilt compressor at same time, if you have trouble with the EAS, forget fitting coil springs, fix what is already there, after all, it is superior.

Yeah, the hardest part was working out how a piece of plastic( top mount) could be stuck so well, still, a bit of levering with a crow bar sorted that out.

Great stuff. Checked my airbags today and noticed that the front nearside bag was well worn, just like a ragged out tyre

There's no way springs could have done what I did today. Money well spent.

Ah yes, but they do come out with a satisfying BANG!

I did my V8 front springs without removing wheel arch liner. For the awkward clip, just drilled a secret hole, screwdriver in to pop clip off, other hand in from the side to grab clip. Same for refitting.

With suitable tools no need to remove arch liner. Bit of a fiddle but easily doable.

I ones had a kid come do my front at the side of the road after mine went bang (litraly). dint even drill dont know how he dld it cos it was pitch black but he dident take the liner off eather. Still it only took him about half hour and that included clear the fault
