New 4.2SC owner

Hi, Just bought a 2006 4.2SC Vogue SE. Eyes wide open and Im going to be searching the forum for advice but I need a few bits and bobs to start the cash flow going out the door, so can anyone point me in the right direction for online parts suppliers both new and second hand.

For info, its 1 owner - full (and I mean wanted for nothing) Land Rover history. 112k, rust is starting to show in areas underneath but very little on the body work (yet!)

First thing it need is a new air tank as the front of the current one of very flaky..

Does it need a new tank ?

Parts can vary from supplier to supplier some are cheaper on some and more expensive on others. I usually try my usual suppliers add up the cart with shipping and see who comes out cheapest for quality parts. Not britpart.

It varies from order to order.

At that mileage it needs the Gearbox oil doing - ZF lifegard 6 only etc etc

Oh and the coolant valley pipe will need to be kept an eye on at that mileage..

If hasn't been done or if you were going to tow with it check the 2nd waterpump or supercharger water pump wiring isnt backwards brown negative red white positive, if hasn't then budget for a new pump all years running backwards doesn't like to go forwards. I found this one out last week when towing not hard job to change passenger headlight out grill off and its right there.
