New 109 Owner

Hi Landypeople
I drove lots of Landrovers in the forces and I've owned two Freelanders (both fantastic cars) still driving the most recent one (2011). But I thought it was time I had a proper Landrover so I've just bought a 1980 Series 3 petrol 109 soft top which did 17 years with Her Majesty but seems to have escaped more or less unscathed. So watch this space!

I'm an expat Brit living in Cork, Ireland so not too far away. Retirement looms but I'm looking forward to touring the 109 to events and I'm still very involved with the local scouts so lots of muddy fields.

I was so keen to tell the World I haven't picked it up yet! It's in a fairly dodgy and incorrect sort of desert camo so my first job will be to repainted it back to NATO Green. How do I add a picture the symbol above keeps asking for acURL

It's a bit of a process. You have to use a website called Photobucket to store the photos then you upload them from there to Landyzone by copying and pasting as you go. I'm a bit of a techno phobe so I'm probably not the best person to explain. If you search on here for how to do it you will probably get better explanations.
