hi i brought a r/r classic 3.5v8 on lpg. date of first reg is 1/2/89. what i need to know is this vehicle had the fuel tank removed and the petrol side disconnected. reason because the last owner runs it soley on lpg and it starts on lpg. so i have decided to get the petrol side working again but not sure if it had a metal tank fitted or plastic. can anyone throw any light on it please.

thanks. as i say i dony know as its missing. also would you know if this had cats as there are standard down pipes fitted but none fitted.

hi it has 1 pipe from each side down into a y piece. i cant belive how very small the diameter the down pipes are .i have a 3.9 disco and large diameter on that. do you think it would make much difference if i fitted 3.9v8 pipes as the diameter is bigger.

sound wot would u want for them. also i have a ecu under drivers seat. is that the main ecu.plus i noticed all the relays are missing so i dont know if any are for the fuel pump; if not what are they for .

so i need some relays. i did ask on forum if anyone could post a photo of the underseat relays so i could see which ones go were. if you dont live to far and how much you want for down pipes and manifolds i could pick up.im westmidlands

You can get a 4ish gallon tank in the rear o/s wing. RPI used to stock them, iwema / Gordon finlay, and tinley tech I think. Maybe worth considering as you have the gas to run on most of the time.
You can also get an 80 litre LPG tank that bolts to the original petrol tank mounts. I have one going spare but Durham may be a bit far!

Could have sworn hotwire was silver too :-/
