Freelander 1 Need Freelander Driver's Door.

Hi people, anyone know of a s/h one going cheap in the London area, any colour for a 2004 5 door Freelander; thanks.

Quite a few on Flea Bay Frances, just type in "freelander drivers door", either that or type in "freelander breaking" into the search box, I'm sure you'll find something near to where you live.

Found one, but buyer beware. The 2004 face-lift Freelander One has different door hole spacing for the wing mirrors and will have to be modified if a pre face-lift doors is used.

Bit late to the party but I only ever seem to come on here when I have trouble with my Freelander. Did you ever get a replacement door? I need a replacement drivers door which is proving difficult! I have found one supposedly from a 2006 facelift model but front he picture, it doesn't have any door moulds - so I'm now thinking it's not a facelift model....

Not all facelift cars had door mouldings - they were an option and standard on HSE from memory.

The body mouldings have always been optional on the FL1s, except for the highest spec at the time.

It's a way of distinguishing model specs. If they put every option on the lower models, they wouldn't sell many higher spec models.

If the door is a good price, in the correct colour, and in perfect condition? Then get it and obtain the door moulding separately. They only stick on with 3M double sided tape.

I'm now looking at two both in the correct cairns colour. One has been stripped of everything except door mouldings and the other is complete and supposedly in good condition - can't tell from the picture as the door is seriously dirty!!

I like to inspect body panels up close and personal. One person's immaculate, is another person's scrap value only.

I could do with a couple of driver's side Cairns Blue doors too. Some low life keyed mine last year.
