The radiator on my 300tdi 'fender has started leaking, I've added some "Bar's Leaks" which has stemmed the leak for now. However I've always considered leak fixers to be a short term "get you home" fix so I need to replace the rad' in the near future.

My local indy' has quoted me £120, the same price as Paddocks but that's for a Britpart unit and I'm not sure I want to trust the blue box for an important part like a radiator.

I can buy one from Ebay and save £20 but still have no guarantee of quality, it could still end up being britpart or worse. Also the guy on Ebay who has lots of ad's LANDROVER DEFENDER/DISCOVERY 200 / 300 TDI 1989 ON RADIATOR NEW-2 YEAR WARRANTY | eBay seems think that 200tdi radiators are the same as 300tdi one's which has set alarm bells ringing that he might not know what he's doing.

So can the collective expertise on here help me out? and recommend a supplier that can sell me a defender 300tdi radiator that is good quality at a sensible price.

Avoid the eBay ones as the guarantee will be pretty worthless, go with paddocks even if it is britpart (which I have not had any probs with as a make but I have heard a lot of other people complaining)

Mine is britpart and it's fine, all this 'britpart is useless crap' is Internet talk, people jump on the wagon too easy, a lot of parts manufacturers will have faulty items now and again but it seems if it's britpart then people shout a bit louder about it!

And as said stay away from eBay, in 9 months time if you have an issue they won't help you out. Try a local factors, you may be surprised!

I just brought a britpart one for my offroader really cheap and as said b ritpart bashing is in vougue. They plastic/ali design is the same as many cars inc the mrs corsa and they are all fine. if it becomes faulty send it back!
