Just removed the old nearside sill or what was left of it on my Discovery Project.
The rear body mount is shot and I have hacked it off.
Having done the front one on the other side, thought the rear would be just as easy but whereas the front has a grommet in the floor to allow fitting of the bolt the rear doesn't have this.
The new bolt will not fit from below.
Any ideas for fitting the bolt or do you have to drill the floor for access.
As if there wasn't enough holes already!!

Here's what was left of the old sill

Chop sill out then cut the body mount rubber bolt and then remove. Or cut floor
I've got the old one off.
Its trying to put the new bolt in.
Typical but the bloody floor there is nint so will have to drill it to drop then bolt in.
Unless there is any reason I shouldn't put the bolt in from the bottom and the nut on the top as Im not keen on drilling good metal if I can help it.

When i replaced mine they had nyloc nuts so good to knock in from bottom and hold but to align up n the open end spanner should tighten it up
