I've replaced a few of the bulb holders and the loom side connectors that go into the bulb holders on my 85 110 fitted with the wipac NAS lamps over the years from corrosion.
I've now got another 3 that need doing, loom side and looking at them I can't see why I can't just push out the female terminals and solder new (preferably brass) ones on and reuse the plastic part.
Thing is, I don't know what these terminals are called or what size they are . Googling hasn't helped.
The terminals all go the same way, rusty tin rubbish.
Anyone know the terminals spec?
This is the loom side ones I'm after.

Hi Gary, the complete kits in the two eBay links I know about, it just seems a waste to replace the whole thing when it would be just as easy to replace the terminals only(and cheaper/greener)
The top bits in black...are they the terminals part numbers etc?

Plus if it helps , I bought some dental metal picks which were perfect for cleaning up terminals, also bought a terminal removal kit

seeing I had so much electronics in the disco and a lot of connectors I had to fix

Indeed and know u can save a fortune by just shopping around , what on Earth did we do before ebay, lol

ur so welcome , always a pleasure to help a fellow lz member

Think it’s the side bits on the female that hold them in , Male side there is i think a small catch

will try and see if the sheet I have relates to those terminals

Ref TE Part No. 345148-1

this is the shape of the removal tool

plus if u put the terminal part numbers in it will show u more details

Terminals turned up today and I've had a good look at one with a magnifying glass. The two 'ears' either side of each terminal are solid and don't push in so it looks like the plastic terminal holder will need to be 'streched' apart somehow or the terminal will need brutal force to push it out?
I can't see how that tool in the pic above would work any better than a suitable screwdriver for a backyard tratter tatter like me:D
Lights are still working fine though even with the crusty old terminals cleaned up so I'm going to postpone replacing them this weekend and get the proper tool just in case:rolleyes:.
@gstuart
Can't find that tool anywhere individually but I'm a pooter mong tbh:oops:
