The nanocom i ordered came friday, think i'm gonna try and disable the EKA and Immobiliser
Any other suggestions what i should do with it that might leave car more reliable?
+1^^^^ use your phone to photograph the settings before you make changes.Learn how to use it before you start changing anything, make a note of what has been changed and it's original setting. Or you can cause yourself a lot of pain. Visit the site and read up on it. Use the emulator.
Can't you export data to an sd card? Haven't done it myself but I'm sure I remember seeing the option.+1^^^^ use your phone to photograph the settings before you make changes.
Probably, but I do not have a Nanocom so do not know for sure, I have a Faultmate and I find it easier to photograph the screen data. Can't you export data to an sd card? Haven't done it myself but I'm sure I remember seeing the option.
save live data on a run. You need a particular card to work with it.Can't you export data to an sd card? Haven't done it myself but I'm sure I remember seeing the option.

Had a read of the manual, couldn't see much on cards.save live data on a run. You need a particular card to work with it.
Grrrr will know the particulars.
Immobiliser is a simple on or off setting in the BECM, turn off EKA while you are in there. You have to "save" after you make the changes for them to take effect.Have been working all weekend so not got a chance to look at it,will have a play with the emulator tonight and maybe have a go at the immobiliser tomorrow..
If you have Motronic V8 with cruise control (CC), make sure you have the correct CC tune file for your RR's Hella CC unit...
1) First, check the main throttle cable and CC cable on the engine have the correct gap per the RAVE manual.
2) Make sure to press the CC switch on and then start engine.
3) While the engine is running, connect your Nanocom.
4) From the Nanocom home screen press R-ROVER P38 > MOTRONIC > HELLA CC > SETTINGS > scroll to the last page > under "Vehicle Tune", select your specific engine > then click on "WRITE SETTINGS".
