Just tried to help another member out of a problem on here but my nanocom won't connect to his abs ecu is it only for 1999 and after

4 flavours for the P38 section of the Nanocom based on engine type: Thor, GEMS and diesel. Some modules work across all 3. Some require ignition on and others off. Sometimes it takes a few attempts.

His model was 4.0 mines a 4.6 his was 1995 tho but it linked to his eas and be my just not gearbox symbol and abs ecu

Different models and model years had different ABS ECUs....Wabco C and Wabco D I think....so may not connect....but not sure!

Wabco C before 1999 Wabco D after that year. C 2 wheel traction control and later 1999 on 4 wheel traction control. If it's 1995 it's Wabco C.

The diesel has no year restriction so covers both C and D. Seems a bit odd the petrol wouldn't too.

Gems up to 1998 only has Wabco C. Motronic after 1998 only has Wabco D. Diesel because it changed from two wheel T/C to four wheel T/C for 1999 has both.

I've left the nanocom with him for the week he can sort a few other things out he prob b on here asking for a bit of advice
