So I have spoken with the diagnostics people. They are going to use testbook so that the immobiliser is turned off with the key. They told me they copied the original BCU across to the new unit, therefore the EKA is what they are saying. All I can think is that the car thinks a door or maybe even the sunroof is open and won’t accept the EKA code or there is something with the BBUS being unplugged or something. Once I’ve sent them the BCU to change the immobilisation and check the PLIP codes on the keys I’ll let you know.

Still no further, have been back to diagnostics. BCU is not locked out. I have a few things that I think it can be;

During the removal of the rear section of the car I’ve removed something that is no allowing it to be remobilized.
The lock actuator isn’t registering all the movements on the EKA code
A faulty fuse box??
The removal of the BBUS, if there was one.

first step is to source a BBUS and plug it in.

the saga continues....
