As I work through the little things for tidying up the old S2a/3 crossover, the next thing I’d like to do is replace this on both doors along with the locks. As you can see from the outside pic they’ve seen better days!

The bit I’m after is the nock that the lock fixes onto as per the internet photo I’ve marked up.

Thanks in advance.

Its the door handle and lock, comes as a complete unit or a set of two if replacing both sides or set of 3 for a hard top with rear door so you have the same key for all doors.

Fitted these to my series, you could still open them with most keys so not really secure. Converted them to use a cheap remote kit off ebay and inhibited the operation of the key.

i fitted the anti burst locks of a later model on my '69 station wagon, its a good safety upgrade if carrying grandchildren or similar

Sorry I may not have been clear enough, I’m actually referring to the box that’s fitted to the door skin with what appear to be pop rivets…not the actual lock (which fit to this box).

I have seen door skins available without this back box so assume they can be bought separately? I hope so as I don’t fancy putting brand new skins on as the ones on there have shall we say a nice ‘used but looked after’ style to them.

I would agree with this. I had the same issue with my read door where this box part has rusted out and could not find it as a replacement part. I repaired it once, and it rusted out again. ended up replacing the whole door.
