Hi, I've finally realized conversion of my 110. It works and looks great. Plenty room left inside, on side there are four lockers on right side, 2 small, and two large (one for water tank), with little table between, which can be transformed easily into bigger one (there will be a cooker and little sink soon). Under the the floor, four easily accessible chambers for with plenty space for spare parts, clothes, food maybe - anything.

There are few minor thinks to complete, plus interior shower (with hot water - pics soon :) ), insulation, roof vent etc...

nice job , lot of work there, dont forget to insulate roof , as its like trying to sleep under a waterfall :D

Yeah, I know... And the van vent on the roof...
Plasma? hehe I'm from Bradford, so the car would be stolen even before putting plasma into it :D:D:D

Well, the plans could be aranged I guess... I'll let know to my girl, she might be able to prepare some, but it won't be easy to do precise plan, because roof and some parts might be different in different vehicles. I'll try though.

If about double size bed - I guest there is a chance. There is still more than 120cm width left. But I thing it's easier and more comfortable anyway to use self inflantable mats. I have already ordered two Highlander Comfort mats (180x50x3.8 cm) They are comfortable quite cheap (30£), easy to set up, or remove, you can use bend the bottom part of the bed easily to get into the vehicle, and you can use them for differend purposes also. The mattress has to be easily removeble or able to bend, due to the shower tray that will lay on the lower floor when in use. (pics soon)

i thought you were kidding about the internal shower ?

whats wrong with a plastic bag filled with water and a few holes put in it and then hung orf yer roof rack?

i do like what you've done but seeing as it's a permanent fixture now you have limited the use of the back of your landy in terms of what you can now fit in it - we tend to just put some scaffold planks across the raised sections and slide some of those boxes designed for uner your bed under the planks for storage - and and inflatable bed on top of the planks

this way if you have to cart 4 engines around in the back you'll have the space and not be worried about your plywood getting chipped

do you do kitchens ?

If it's about the shower. I managed to get a tray - like couvette - 90x60x5cm. Tere is a coutain glued alaround sides (insde), with the hight of the landy (there is a bit more - but to complcated - you must see the pics) . Whole courtain is normally hiden inside the tray, and put under the high floor under the bed. To use it you move the high floor to the front and put the tray to the back of landy on the low floor next to rear door. Just hop inside and pull up the courtain fitting it to the catches at the rour corners of the roof. Water comes out through the little pipe comming out of the bottom of the tray outside the car. Disadvantage is, that you can't stand in it, you have to be on the knees or sitting on side bench, but I've tried, and very comfortable anyway. When you finished, just put the courtains down into the tray and all goes back under the floor. To set it up it's less than 1 minute. Doesn't take any space, easy to use. Why all this? Have you tried to take a shower outside the car in february in north Scotland? I have, as well as my girl ... not very nice experience. My sollution is simple, do not take space at all, easy to set up. Whenever it's not raining, you have to take the tray outside to dry it. That's it. And hot water - another story (diesel preheater device used for water - not my patent, but it works great in my mates disco. Half hour driving - 25l tank full of 40C water)
:D

Your conversion looks really fab - can see what we've got to aspire to - nothing like our 'pack'n' go mess. . can't find a bleedin' thing unless it falls out!!!!

Imagine............ packing and then all set to go - then............. battery flat before you've even left the drive - and jump leads one of the first things packed. Huummmph!

Organisation and planning is everything!

I feel much more normalised now - at least you can see your passengers from the back through to front! I think it looks tidy considering. Can anyone beat these 'how to pack a landy' or 'worst packed landy' photos!? Or has it all been done before? First prize - reckon Tarsus should come around and design and fit some of his magic carpentry to the winner's vehicle! Of course mine would be worst so that means I'm the winner then. T - whenever your ready...:p

Well OK
First prize - a crate of beer, when we meet :D
Cassie - you're no.1 at the moment.

In three weeks we're going to Scotland for a month. No hotels or B&Bs. Three vehicles. Two of them including mine, shall be packed quite reasonably... but my mates DISCO will beet you Cassie, I believe :)
Four people in a car, a lot of big stuff, including six seater inflatable boat with 6bhp engine and a lot more. They have roof tent - but for two of them only. Rest will stay sleep in the car ... and the dog as well...

Photos soon :)
