my v8 sounds like a bag of ****

I have put new plugs and leads in my 1999 p38 4.6 v8 but it is running lumpy and has a misfire. she also lacks power. could it be my M.A.S or could it be something more sinister? also changed the air filter and oil.this should not make any difference. can anybody help me please?

Are the plugs gapped correctly?

Try the old leads back on.

Could easily be a coil pack, they can fail instantly, or low quality leads might show up a weak coil pack.

Unlikely to be a MAF if it is misfiring.
