Here are a few pictures of the series 3 I picked up last week. A fair wee bit of work required but I am hoping to do it all myself. So if it all works out right you should be able to see pictures in this thread. This vehicle was built in 1982 and served with the MOD untill it was de-mobbed in 1999. It has also had some off road use after this. It was bought in England a few years back and brought here to Northern Ireland. The vehicle was owned by a chap from Sheffield for a time, not sure how long I have a name and address but I dont want to post it on the forum. If anyone knows the vehicle I would be really pleased to learn more about it.

As it was found sitting at the bottom of a yard.
It was taken off the trailer and pushed into the garage.
Nearside rear forward springhanger/outrigger
Nearside mid chassis rail section
Forward body mounting point, just under the "A" pillar
Nearside bulkhead/footwell area. First of two small repairs required on this side.
Nearside bulkhead/footwell area. This is the second of the two repairs required here.
Engine bay area. This is not the origional engine fitted to the vehicle. Not sure what the reason for the engine swap was.
This is part of the gas conversion that was carried out on the vehicle. This has by now mostly been removed.
The lower half of the dash has been removed from the vehicle. I hope over the period of the rebuild to replace this. All the ducting for the blowers have been removed.
The truck cab. This is what came fitted to the vehicle. Lucky enough the chap that I got it from had a full length hard top for it. I'll be fitting the full length hard top when finished.
Due to family and work commitments work time on the series 3 is short at present. I hope to tinker away at it and have her out and about as soon as possible. Many thanks for taking the time to look and if anyone has and helpful info on the series 3 it would be greatfully received........
