Hi my warranty on my 56 plate d3 s has ran out 3 weeks ago and true to form my sat nav has developed a mind of its own. it seems to have no concept of where it is only correcting itself after about 3 mins and then after making any directional changes loses itself again. The map seems not to rotate around the fixed car location. has anyone any ideas
my satnav has senile demencia

Not sure what you got, - mine is garmin and they was behaving badly some time back, had to download free update and all worked good again.

take the disk out, see if it has any indication of the manufacturer on it, also the unit. model numbers, version numbers etc.
then plug in to google the details and the issue (brief keywords) then end it with forum. there should be loads come up, prolly loads of reading to do but its worth a try!
