my new td4 auto

Hi everyone, glad to join a landrover club,
just bought a 2000 td4 auto,

So glad ive bought one, ive wanted one for a long time. i initially wanted a black td4 auto, however i got grey td4 auto so 2 of the 3 cant complain. feels really tough compared to my flimsy old vauxhall zafira (was so glad to get a shot of that).

it feels great, just a couple of things i need to get sorted.

1. central locking, all doors lock fine using the fob, however when unlocking only the two passenger side doors open, why is this? Ive heard solenoids?

2. i hear a knocking when going round roundabouts and over speedbump, pretty sure its coming from the front left wheel, i can feel the knocking right through to the steering wheel. I take it this is a common thing.

I'll post these problems in the correct forums anyway but i just thought id get started in here first.

So thats me, i hope i can get to know a few people and share issues and what not.

The knocking I would first get all the bushes track rods, anti roll bar checked,
can't help on the doors normally when you unlock 1 push is drivers door only 2 push all the other doors
