Um i'd replace the chassis if it's got expanding foam in it anywhere else, it's pretty much fooked, the foam is porous and will hold water and rust nicely from the inside out.

it's the only place where there is expanding foam someone must of tried a quick fix at some stage :( all the holes i could find in chassis are on pics could have been alot worse as it was parked on a harbour for 12 months:doh: thanks for advice

Not too bad then :) £50 does sound a tad cheap though as Hughesy says, fair amount of work there. Parked on the harbour with that nasty salt spray

Other than that, nice little project you got :D

good luck with it but like eveyone says if you can have it repaired properly for £50 then go for it.

two new outriggers will cost more than that and looking at the pics they really are beyond repair.

I would go with oldskools advice, look for a new chassis there is a guy on ebay selling galv 110 chassis for about £750 but it is for a td5 so you would need to do a little work on it before fitting.

Good luck with the project tho
