my landrover series 3 restoration project

right its been a while ladys and gentss !! well im back ! sorry i havnt posted in landyzone for a while but tbh i forgot :( we have had a fiw problems with my light weight chassis as it was too short so i cut the cross member off and welded it 2 inches back and then i had to cut the tank outriggers so it would line up with the fuel rubber pipe in the back tub ! so ive got some photos for you guys! also i got a pair of side pannels and ive done the runners in them and also ive got a new winch bumper that ive put on but needs to be bolted on yet :) only paid 25 quid for it !! and ive bought some landrover mudflaps to put on it :) pics VVVVVV

Hi guys ! long time no speak, evryone doing ok ? sorry i aint been posting for a while, i just been down :( anyway im back!!!!!! right me landrover is coming along well now! nearly running now, all the body hard top and windscreen in, got some new shoes to go on it, heres some pics:

Today I was making a start on replacing my clutch. I'm going to use an eezibleed kit which attaches to a tyre for pressure (never used one, are they any good?).
In checking out my spare I found something quite interesting...
The tyres at each corner are 205R16s and the one on the bonnet is a 7.50R16...
Seems I have different sized tyres too!
Liking your Broncos though, might have to get me some of those :)

ive never used one, them broncos are good but not on the road ive been told but in a series, you dnt go very fast on big roads haha, but they are awsome tyres offroad :D :D :D
 
whaddya mean nearly had it running matey .........is it being a bastid to bleed up like mine was ...................or do yer mean nearley as in yer almost ready to try starting him :confused:
 
easy bleaders are ok, iv used mine twice today, stick 40 psi in a spare, get a lid that fits and away yer go, just be ready with lots of water and rags if yer blow the top off :D

long time no speak, how you doing ? i do mean nearly starting, i avnt had time to do it in a while, weve been looking for more landys and stuff so i aint been doing much to him, im gna do abit tonight on him see how far i get :D:D
