my landrover rebuild

i just thought i would post a few piccys of me rebuild for anyone interested , i know there are quite a few chaps considering or doing similar things .
i learnt quite a few expensive and valuable leasons along the way and it cost far more than it should of done but it was worth it in the end .... YOU LIVE AND LEARN ....all comments welcome , good or bad .......GULP.....

cheers grippa ....it was done over a few months so i did'nt realise there were so many piccies .... computer is full of emm..

hi very impressed. wish i had taken more photos of mine ,just at the full body off stage at mo finishing weldin on outriggers and then start to fit v8 and replace body with lots of new/ reclaim parts, 2" lift and pos soft top

Very interested in this. Mine is undergoing mechanical work at the moment then when it's back I'll start restoring the inside an out. What colour is that you've used? I was planning on NATO green or maybe camouflage.

its nato green . painted it with a roller ....

I fink yu will find yu put yo dash on back to front .

Ah cool, I have a guy who paints aircraft normally who has said he will paint it and restore the bodywork for me for free! I'm new to this lark, why did you put Series 3 doors on? My doors look very similar but are MOD spec. Yes I know it looks like a dogs breakfast at the moment but once it has the new wheels on and a respray it'll look ok!

i prefer the series three doors i think they look better and you can remove the door tops . plus they were in better condition than the ones that were on it .

My door tops can be removed too, should make for interesting driving being the full soft top!

that certainly looks like the wrong position, fur the dash, to me

an i aint too keen on yo top front shock mount either :.

ohh ya mean him not me .... arrr i see ....

why aint ya doin it yerself zonda ?? it aint rocket science it don't need to be perfect ..

Basically because I have no space to work and he offered to do it for free! I'll be doing the inside though.

you can't beat free i spose but it's half the fun doing it yerself .....
