I hate to disappoint you, but you gearbox/torque convertor is unlikely to make more than 80K miles especially as you already have evidence of wear in the oil. The valve blocks are made of cream cheese.

Hi
Thanks for the advice.
I read some info on the GM box which said about regular oil changes prolonging the life of the box. I probably exaggerated a little on the 'slime' but there was a 1mm layer on the magnet. No actual bits.
How do I move to the RR section please.
