I use the 55w kit in mine driving through epping forest was lousy with standard bulbs its much better now can see the deers running out in front off me now lol

I've done something similar in my boot but now wondering if its possible to fit a canopy or some shelter to the back so i can brew a cuppa or cook when raining?
Any thoughts out there?

Hello!

Regarding the HID Kit:

Can you still adjust the angle of the beam via the little adjuster thingy on left of speedo housing. I just read on another forum that if you do or roading wading these hid conversioncan be easily damaged, any ideas?

Which HID Kit details are relevant for fitting on Facelift models?

Sorry about all the questions!

Thanks

Yes it does work

I went for one supplied by HIDS4U as they do an anti dazzle kit for non projector headlights. Not been flashed at all.

Very nice mods mate...Can you tell me if you installed camber pins at all when you fitted 2" lift kit, and if you did were they replacing upper or lower bolts in bottom strut mounts.
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere in this thread.

Regards John.

Camber pins fitted to upper bolt on the bottom of the struts. Needed for my 40mm lift. Will be needed for the 50mm lift.

Then you need 4 wheel alignment-the one that costs about £80-£100, not the cheap ones you get done at the local tyre places.

Sorry haven't been online for a while, as Mike said...camber pins fitted, then 4 wheel laser alinement and tracking done. :)

No worries
Nice work..great mods.
Liking your boot shelf and cargo guard..have put soft back on mine and wouldn't mind the security when open and folded..too much messing putting side windows back to park up temporarily.

Cheers John.

Replacement for the hippo.......

Ford Focus 1.6 tdci Zetec (110 dpf). 2010 42k miles, 1 owner from new, full ford service history, 17" upgrade alloys, factory privacy glass, sports seats, sports suspension etc etc
Really nice to drive, handles like a go kart, comfy, and quite nippy too. Cheap to run, and only £30 a year road tax.
Only mods will be egr blanking plate, and drop in filter. To keep the turbo healthy.
