My first disco

Hey every one I have been after a old disco for a long time now and everytime I have money for one there is non what I can get but this morning I viewed this little find

Sorry about the pics they are off the autotrader

1996 300tdi xs with 10 mounths mot and 150,000 on the clock.
2inch lift,bigger tyres an wheels,rock sliders and steering gaurd.
All this for just over 750 pound wahoooo I finaly got my disco

It's fairly rot free as well which is good.the engine and box seemed to pull realy well and packs of service history.

Oh I forgot to say that I have put a depoist on it and picking it up on Thursday

Picked it up and it's all good

Apart from can't get it into the diff lock but guess that's a sizzed lingkage but o well.

Hi mate hope you in joy as for the diff lock wd40 around the lencage & just keep working it & it will free up & then a good 3 in one oil & just keep working it.I had to on mine when i got it now every outher mounth just use it to keep it free & away you go. roll on the snow so we can play.

Yeah I'm going to make a start on it next weekend with the oil etc.
Just been out around brentwood green lanes testing it

Much better then my old vitara haha
So yeah I'm over the moon with it and my dogs love it to with all the space in side to Jump around.

Nice one mate, looks a right bargain, especially if its not too rusty.

If you like a bit of green laning then have a look at the green laning section and take a look in the Essex lanes section.

We often go out for a play and always glad to meet fellow enthusiasts.

Cheers mate and yeah it does have it's rot spots but nothing that can't be fixed.
Yeah I'll keep looking for a meet up as I only go on my own but i only do the ones that arnt that messy (well intill I get my diff locks working)
