Now getting someone else to rebuild it for you is just missing out on all the fun. That's part of the joy/misery of owning a landy :D

Yes very true, though having the time and means to do it stopped me. Once its done I will be doing all the servicing, rebuilding etc. So its more like breaking myself in with it

I take it the capping is being replaced with new?
Quick word to the wise. Have it galvanised first (like it used to be), it is dead cheap to have done (having all the capping done should only cost about £15) and it will last for ever.
Noticed that you are in Cambs which is even better. I use East Anglian Galvanising in Sawtry. Excellent service and like I say, really reasonable charges.

As I understand the roof is being removed and all capping replaced. Whether or not its being galvanised I don't know. But I shall certainly ask. THanks for the info on East Anglian Galvanising I shall no doubt the using their services in the future.

Small update. New cappings fitted along with a new door.
