my car fixes its self

So after doing the valley pan I had the book symbol on the hevac was gonna have a look see at some point. Today go out and found no blowers working iv replaced the relays long time ago and know iv got to strip the fuse box at some stage due to burnt contact.

Any ways relays working fuses all good I wiggle all the plugs on the blower under the glove box nothing seems a miss I get my volt meter out turn on the ignition turn up the fan switch and he presto blowers blowing a good in.

So my car fixed its self nah nah nah nah raise:

And no book symbol

Quality, can you come and put your healing hands on my Hevac display? As my fan won't turn right off, it's alright in the winter, but in the summer d/side blend motor was sticking. So it was a car of having all the windows open! I did buya replacement of fleabay, but after I was assured that it wasa good unit. I fitted it and it was worse than mine for faults!

I'm gonna heal the sick at the local hospital 1st then I'll be right round:lol:

Hallelujah, oh lordy lordy, praise you brother

took 30 mins book symbol back but blowers still blowing will need to find a spare day and pull the fuse box off and have a good look around
have healed the sick they can now all walk

Mine has the book symbol on the havoc display. All of it seems to work thou

yeah seems to be the case with mine but i did move the a/c compressor out the way when i did my valley gasket been on ever since proberly upset the ac compressor

Mine too. Cheque book symbol not there all the time, but even when it is I can't find anything that doesn't work. I have wondered if it is to do with the ext. temp sensor. Is this covered by Hevac?

My book symbol was on for a while.

I tried driving with the temp setting at its highest, then when it got too warm in the car I moved it to the lowest setting. Did this a few times = no more book symbol and everything working ok.

Obviously the flaps were a little sticky.

You don't want sticky flaps :doh:

A known and common way to remove the test book symbol is to exercise the blend motors.

well itvunfixed its self blowers stopped again tonight bloody cold with no heater thank good for my uprated heated seat lol will pull the fuse box tuesday strip it down n have a look see

It's a miracle.

and fixed its self again lol went and popped the hood turned it on blowers a blowing so a quick squirt of electrical cleaner down the heater relay holes for now.

not sure it will make a difference still gonna strip the fuse box tuesday as both blowers pack up and they have a separate relay got to be a common power feed.

im thinking this is a self inflicted fault i may have got some water on/in the fuse box after back flushing my heater matrix as its onlt happened since then, iv known i mite have a dodgey fuse box since i got the car as i found relay 7 fan motor burnt out with a little bit of melting under the relay, i have had this excellent guide book marked from the first month i got the car
